Sirloin steak, like Ribeye, possesses several qualities that make it highly desirable. It comes from the loin section of the cow, which is less worked and thus yields a more tender meat compared to cuts from more muscular areas. It offers a rich, beefy flavour that is slightly leaner than ribeye. It has a robust taste that comes from the marbling within the meat and its proximity to the tenderloin, a particularly flavourful part of the animal. It is particularly good barbequed or grilled.
It's generally recommended to cook Sirloin medium rare, but that's entirely up to you. For thicker cut steaks we would recommend resting the steak after cooking for between 10-20 minutes.
All products will be delivered frozen. Please defrost in the fridge overnight and take out the fridge 30mins-1hour before cooking.
