Eggs
Our pastured laying hens are raised in open pastures, where they have access to fresh air, sunshine, and plenty of space to roam and forage for food. The hens are able to express their natural behaviours, such as dust bathing, scratching the ground for insects and seeds, and taking regular walks. Compared to hens that are raised in crowded indoor facilities, pastured hens tend to be healthier and happier. They are less prone to disease and stress, and produce eggs that are more nutritious and flavourful. Raising pastured laying hens is also better for the environment, as it reduces the use of pesticides, fertilisers, and other harmful chemicals that are commonly used in industrial egg production.
